You can only make so much in the safety of a 0.9 or 1.0 system. Re: Critical damage detection and drones

Yes indeed it is still on the table and will be added in a future version. It's a solid option to have in your arsenal, albeit one that requires quite a bit of extra coding! :D

Re: Gas Cloud Mining

Have you tried the new version v5.67? I haven't tested it for mining gas clouds so maybe their new icon may be responsible for messing things up. Could you post a PNG screenshot (unaltered) where you have gas clouds targeted?

If you have a freighter then it's worth using the included Warp to Zero Hauler / Trade Route Runner to move your ore to Jita and sell it there. You may want to refine it first if you have the skills and standings required to produce zero waste and taxes.

At the moment you need to either make the initial ICE field bookmark manually or switch to mining asteroid belts instead. In the future a new feature may be added to scan for new ICE fields automatically.

Re: Optimized setup for Retriever??

I thought this goes without saying but you don't lose anything when resetting the lasers early. You gain exactly what has been mined until the moment you reset them, nothing more nothing less. The benefit of resetting early is that empty asteroids will pop thus allowing you to target fresh ones. If ...

It should all become easier to understand once you have a firm grasp of what the various TinyMiner settings are actually doing. Well if the belts in your area tend to deplete very fast then use Strip Miner I's and mine everything. On the other hand if there is enough of your favorite flavor of ore then use Modulated Strip Miner II's with T1 crystals (because they are cheaper and last longer). T2 crystals are nice too so it's...
