To rig or not

Just curious how many TM users run their barge/exhumer with cargo rigs.

I was thinking about putting my miners in freighters and moving all over the place wherever the rocks are fat. The idea will be to repackage my hulk and load up in the freighter and move search for better systems. Of course you lose your rigs whenever you repackage a ship.

I do, 2x T1 Cargo rigs,
pretty much a must if you are solo mining, especially for ICE
even if you are non-macro mining, the are a great help. Can run and grab a drink or smoke and not miss cycles cause your cargo hold was full.

Yes I would definitely advise to install cargo expander rigs into your Hulk as well but don't repackage it after that! Instead use the included free Warp to Zero - Hauler / Trade route runner to travel in any system where you'd like to mine.

I've been pretty lucky gankwise, knock wood.

Maybe it's because I gate mine 95% of the time.

And I don't mine in ice systems which seems to attract a lot of attention from gankers and miners alike.
