Yes pretty much everything needs to be set up as explained on the tutorial page. Reset windows in EVE in order to place the "Overview" and "Selected Item" windows in the correct position as shown in the screenshot. Also "Widescreen" and "Transparency set to 255" are equally important. If you follow the tutorial step by step and compare the screenshots carefully you shouldn't have any problems.

There are no limitations to the Trial version. It does everything the registered version does, only a single mining run to the belt and then back to the station. It seems you have an older version though. Please download it again from our site, the latest version is 1.8 which also supports Warp to Zero auto pilot runs (at the bottom of the TinyMiner window). The trial version does a maximum of 4 warp to zero jumps and if your trip takes more jumps than that then the remainder of it will be done with normal auto pilot.
The "Selected Item" window needs to be as narrow as possible, both width and height and then placed in the top right corner of the EVE window and Pinned there. Then place the "Overview" under it.
When you start TinyMiner in station it will undock, warp to a random belt from your mining folder and then click on the first asteroid from the overview (if the overview is positioned correctly). That asteroid will become selected in the "Selected Item" window so TinyMiner will look for its icon up there. If it doesn't find it then it will assume the belt is empty and will warp to another belt. So it is very important to compare your setup with the screenshot from the tutorial page very carefully. You can drag the EVE window over the screenshot to fine tune the small differences.

OK, Got that fixed. I'm in a Rohk, since i don't have the skills for a barge. I put 6 mining turrents on it. It slowly targeted 6 roids, but ended up asigning 3 turrents to 1 roid. The others were underneath the bookmark folder. since you can only really mine 3-4, any chance of you putting multiple turrents on 1 roid to spread them out evenly? Its a dead give-away when you always have 3 on 1 roid.

Yes well I think you're the first person to use a battleship to mine with TinyMiner so far. I think you can squeeze 5 targeted asteroids in there if you narrow the bookmarks folder window some more. So it will be just 2 lasers on the last roid.
But I strongly believe that this is hardly noticeable by anyone especially since you will be in a new belt everytime. I wouldn't worry about it at all, nobody here had any problems with TinyMiner ever.
Other than that I would suggest training for a Retriever. It should only take about 10 days with decent learning skills and the mining yield would be superior to your battleship, mainly due to the increased cargo.
