got me a PC upgrade...

6 months of running 2 EVE clients & TM+ at 90%+ CPU just melted the CPU cache on the old one (I'm NOT COMPLAINING)

put a new MB, quad core processor in the old box...

what was red-lining the old one is now running at a nice cool 17% on my nice shiny new 4 core processor....

any chance of adding a third client to TM+?

I know.... I'm just plain GREEEEDY

Use your old pc and run two clients on that without watching porn on the side and you'll be fine

ah lag....

and VG accuses ME of not reading well...

the old pc died, and its smoldering carcass was picked clean for the phoenix that is the new one....
it was SO old, it barely ran 2 clients... it had to shut everything else off... no audio... no nicey nice video extras...

it had an AGP 4x video card...
2 500M sticks of DDR400...
the MoBo & processor are fried... but it was a single core intel... 2.4ghz (i believe)
like I said, the MoBo & processor were cooked...
but if you know anybody who wants the video card &/or memory....
slide me a couple fin-skies and they are YOURS... pal

get that "wipable keyboard" out of the drawer and YOU can PULL together a side machine YOU can dedicate to porn...

on a TM note.... whats your cubes/hour rate?

outside of theory land, I'm pulling just over 43

I could try to make an Ice Multi-Miner (as many clients as you want) since mining Ice eliminates many of the variables that would make it unreliable in case of mining normal roids...

Use the TinyPlus with the option: Add 1, Add 1, Add 1

I'll definately will use it with 3-4 iceminers. Don't want to crowd the belt with my own fleet. More would not be adviseable with all the suicide bombing going around.

well you could do 4 here then 4 half way down the ice belt ect ect or some systems have 2 ice belts so...

I'd rather use 2 different systems or even 3.

It's all about keeping a low-profile.

We have a fleet coming around every couple days all run by one guy.

He has all his ships and chars named almost the same, in the same corp and all spread (hardly) over the same belt.


And he wonders why he gets targetted by gankers.... duh...

Low-profile, that's the only thing that counts!


Even if I do roid mining I make sure that my miners don't visit the same belt.
I made for a system with 10 belts, two sets of bookmarks with a random split (i.e. NOT 1,2,3,4,5 and 6,7,8,9,10)

Perhaps I should make clear that I play EVE for 4-5 years now and have been marcomining for 2.5 years wit a minimum of 4 accounts online the same time, without ever getting caught, acussed or ganked.
Where I see loads of other players having issues..

I would like the option to run more clients on ice.

In that case maybe worth looking at Tyrannis on that test server, ice may be shifting to planetary deposits. Seen screenshots pass round in a few channels showing things like nitrogen isotopes on planets showing as resource deposits.

Even then, I'd kill for a multi ice miner setup.

+1 for the ice miner multiclient

+1 for more clients usage from TMPlus Simply 2 is not enough to feed my isk addiction when i go on a rampage to kill things
