Feature Idea travelling (DONE)

Hi,

It would be great if there was a quick travel option.
eg just set the destination manually and change the number of jumps in TM, then hit start. so skip the use of the destination station window.

also it would be great if you could move the travel window so one can see the # of remaining jumps and security rating of the waypoints.

Yes this is an interesting idea, I'll add it on the "to-do" list for the next version!

i guess it could be implemented by using the jump button. in the overview create a tab which shows only stations and stargates and let tm first click on the yellow symbol and then on the jump button. rinse and repeat until undock button in bottom left corner shows. then the quicktravel is over! i believe i posted this method some time ago.

hope this will be implemented.

While your adding features to the Hauler...

Why not a feature to activate your Covert Cloak after giving the warp command.

For those of us who like to travel covertly.

Tinyminer v5.60 is out now and both these features have been implemented! Now there is a new "Free Style" traveling option that doesn't need any bookmarks anymore, simply set your destination manually and let it go! This option doesn't require entering an exact number of jumps either, it will continue as long as a yellow gate can be found in the Overview! Only at the end of the run it will turn on the autopilot so that your ship can dock at the final destination station.

Also if your mining profile has any active modules checked then those will be activated after each jump just before warping to the next gate. If you plan on using a covert ops cloaking device make sure to drag it in a mid or low slot since that's where TinyMiner is looking for modules to activate! Before you ask, YES, it is possible to drag a cloaking device in a mid or low slot (or any other module in any other slot for that matter), just not in the fitting window! You can rearrange the layout of your modules by dragging them around in your HUD while the ship is undocked in space.
