New Feature: Ship Repair and Hostiles run together (DONE)
New Feature: Ship Repair and Hostiles run together (DONE)
Since we can now merge ships into the station panel, couldn't it be possible to have the "Local" channel window in the center to watch for hostiles, and have the ship repaired in-station in the merged panel? Also, since we can now "Compact the Member List" of the channel windows, it would be nice to have it scanned for hostiles in compact mode so we can cram more names into the window.

Sorry, scratch the second sentence...I didn't realize that local chat can now be monitored in compact mode.

I don't know if you noticed this but until the most recent patch (Inferno 1.0.5 I think) the active ship (i.e. the one you were currently flying) was NOT shown in the Ships panel. They must have realized it was a dumb idea and fixed it.
I think the repair method could be changed to right-click in the ships panel instead but that could lead to problems if you have more than one ship in there and the first one is not the ship you wanted to repair...
Also the "Compact Member List" hasn't been implemented just yet. It's scheduled for the next version v5.58. Until then the older method still works.

Yeah, was thinking that you have to rename your ship so that it will be first alphabetically in order to do that. Thanks VG.

Well I don't know about your ships but mine are certainly Not listed in alphabetical order. In fact I can't work out a rhyme or reason to the order in which they are shown. When you display them as "list" they seem to be in alphabetical order but when you display them as "icons" there is no apparent order.

This feature has been introduced in the v5.58 version. Now the "repair ship in station" will right-click on your ship from the Ships window instead of center of the Eve window so that now you can use both "monitoring the local chat" and "repair ship in station" options at the same time. When right-clicking on your ship the "Get Repair Quote" option must be the second one in the context menu! Make sure to disable the "Load Station Environment" option in Eve Display & Graphics settings!
