First of all i want to state, i don't mine 23/7 and i switch systems regularly and i mine rocks, all of them in hi-sec

I few days ago, i started up my miner on my laptop wich i use it for macromining while i use my other PC for the other stuff.
An hour or so after i started mining i noticed i had a convo request on one of my miner toons. I accepted the convo (it was from a 1day old char)
and i replied what can i help you with? The person on the convo said that he was a CCP dev and that he was checking some belts looking for bots.
He asked me a simple test (how much is 5+2 or something). I lol'd and gave him the answer. He said ok, you're not a bot, have fun with eve and he left convo.
Now, i don't have a clue if this was for real but i just wanted to give you guys a heads up.
Just wanted to know if anyone else had an experience like that?

I feel, with all the stuff around botting and RMT on eve forums and evenews24 that a real witchhunt is going on. I just wanted to know what's you guys view on that?

They convo with their GM chars. I know, because I have firsthand experience. This was probably just some happy amateur.

You should report the char who convoed you, it's forbidden to impersonate GM's.

also that is why you should block all convos and then you know the GM's are the ones convoing you

What he said..

Also be aware that almost all trail accounts will be contacted by a GM sooner or later, just to check in on you, happend to me on 3 trails..
