Vote the next Tiny project you'd like to see released first

Now that the Incursion expansion has finally settled in and TinyMiner v5.45 is mining like a champ again, we can finally think about the future again. I have several projects in mind and eventually they will all be developed but at the moment time is the only drawback.
So it would be interesting to see which application you think it will be most beneficial to you. Please vote one of the choices presented above and also post your thoughts on the subject in this thread so that we can discuss them. Many thanks.

The autologin would be great for me. Sometimes, I just don't get home from work at a predictable time and it would be nice to be able to not waste that time just because I can't log in and start it myself. I'm also US, so starting when I wake up is several (5-6) hours after DT. While I don't want to run it 23/7 (cause it's too conspicuous), I would like to shift to earlier hours since that's when the roids are more abundant.

Autologin, any time of day. It would make this program so much more useful.

Well I voted for the ice-miner but yeah, surfing around the forums it's easy to see that people want the macro to be so automatic that it also logs in by itself. By applying a function like this TM will most likely get a wider audience, which should be supported as VG deserves all the customers coming here. TM is a great bot, clean, simple and sturdy.
Man o man to someday see VG code a ratting bot oh joy

VG if you do make the auto login that seems to be what everyone wants. would u be able to make it optinal cos i guess there are people out there that do not realy want to put in there user name and password to a program that connects to the net to be varifired. becase that could be open to abuse. not saying you would or anything but you know what i mean...

Auto login Or even better, something that will relog the session if it discos. That would be sooooo f'ing cherry.

My first forum post, just thought I would say what an awesome bot you have programmed here VanGogh. I voted for a auto login just cause with my current sleeping pattern I end up missing out on several hours a day not that its a huge deal. But as comment above something that logs back in after a disconnect would be awesome, maybe a future project.

Auto-Login all the way! I have to go to bed about 2-3 hours before the server goes down and I miss out on a good 6-8 hours a day mining and sometimes I'm too tired to reset it when I wake up in the morning! Auto-login would be an amazing feature for those of us who the server downtimes affect.

I voted for Ice, but the autolog in after disconnect would have been my first choice.

Wow, looking at the list of idea's leaves it impossible for me to choose, as I would use them all! The salvager one would sweeten up my level 4 soloing an immense amount, wouldnt have to spend 10-20 mins looking at my other screen, nistead i could starting on the next mission

Very much looking forward to seeing all of these progress.

So I would never wish to rush a genius at work, but it's been 2+ months since we've had an update on this login scheduler and after trying to create my own with minimal results, I was just wondering, has this been scrapped or is it still forthcoming, and do we have a ballpark as to when it might be finished? Just a ballpark figure
Thanks VG!

Yes I know it's been a long time and I'm sorry about that, I just got sidetracked a lot. However the work is almost done and I expect to release the TinyMiner Autologin Scheduler sometime next week. I am just testing its integration with TinyMiner as I've already mentioned in this post:
http://www.power-gamers.net/forum/viewt ... 1316#p5462
So it should be released after the next version of TinyMiner v5.5 which addresses the changes from the last Eve patch, Incursion 1.6.

will this be released within 3 weeks? would be great for when i'm on holiday.
Will the auto-login be able to schedule 2 accounts to rotate the miners? ie account 1 for 6 hours then account 2 for 6, etc.

Yes definitely! The schedule will have up to 10 entries where you can log in any account you want (including the same one with different characters), select which character from the account you want to use, what TinyMiner profile to load and how long you want to mine with each character. There are endless possibilities to shuffle for the Tiny Autologin Scheduler, that's why it's taking a while to finish, although it's almost ready now.

sounds good VG. also would this be able to join a fleet that is already set up ? IE u set up fleet with Orca alt and they can auto join it by searching for avalible fleets that are at +10 to you

That fleet option is a bit out of scope at the moment since not many people have that setup and right now I am concentrating on getting version 1.0 out there. But it's definitely something worth taking into consideration for the next versions.

After the autologin, I'd like to see the multiple ice miner. A great idea for people short on computers and long on ice miners.

/me blames ADHD.

At the moment I am integrating some automation into the registration and maintenance process so that I will have more free time to focus on adding new features and less time wasted on maintenance stuff. Shouldn't take long now.

well i would have to vote mainly for the auto-login, the possibility for that with my use are amazing and a close second would be multi miner but for the auto miner would you factor in for it to update after dt or just close the window if it detects it and we can do the patch when we get to the computer

Yes, indeed, we are almost there. Hang on just a little while longer and it'll be well worth it.

I really have to finish the automation of the register, license issuing and maintenance processes before I move on to anything else. Automation beats manual labor any day, but you have to make sure it's working properly. As an added bonus everyone will be able to submit free maintenance requests once every 90 days if they wish to change or move their licenses to another computer. You will no longer have to pay the $4.99 maintenance fee unless you want to submit a maintenance request sooner than 90 days (to prevent abuse).
