Hey, Just an idea for a good feature. Possibly an option to use an SMTP (with ssl option) server like evemon does, to email you if something happens that causes TM to close Eve. Like critical shield, or server goes down and it could email you to give you a heads up. Most of us have smartphones with email so this could be really useful.

I as well would like to see this feature, while it won't really make a difference in getting ganked or not at least it would be a heads up that a new barge would be necessary before logging in to find yourself in a pod.

I agree that could be good fun but i guess it would be a lot of work to implement ?

This would be super awesome, especially since Android phones can remote straight into your pc at home with LogMeIn to get everything started up again in the case of crash. I've come home a number of times to find that my network burped and I lost 4 hours of mining while at work, so something like this would save me a lot of time and isk.

Kinda a small priority though since I could just check in every couple hours if I wanted to.

I love the option to monitor chat logs and Private chats. I think it would be cooler if we could take it 1 step further and have an option to email us when a key word or private chat is found.

This feature has already been included in the newest version v5.5 (still being tested for a few more days). If you read the TinyMiner Advanced Settings page you can see a screenshot of the TinyMiner v5.5 window with the email feature on it. Feel free to read the description of this option along with all other advanced options and features so that you will become more familiar with the program.

At the moment I am testing the program's integration together with the new TinyMiner AutoLogin Scheduler that is designed to be able to schedule mining sessions for all your mining toons in order to deal with the daily downtime and minimize your exposure since you will be able to mine in short sessions with various characters so you will be practically invisible to the bot haters. Of course it will work best if you have more than one mining character but it can be also used with one toon if that's all you have until you hit the character bazaar and buy yourself another hulk character for cheap.

I just wonder about Email Notification, because i have an android that I always use VNC (Virtual Network Computing) from my android to see and control TinyMiner. And have to Random Check every 1 to 4 hours to make sure everything is aright.
If i can use Email notification it would be really good that every time Tinyminer got problem i can see and login with VNC, instead of random checking.

The Problem is i can't find any Email Notification in TinyMinerClassic, or do I have to buy TinyMinerPlus to get Email fuction?

The Email Notification function has just been added in the latest version of TinyMiner v5.5 which is now live and ready for download. This feature is available in both the Classic and the Plus versions so please download the one that applies to you from its respective section of the forum.
