mining with stabs?

Just a question does anyone know if you fit warp core stabs instead of mining upgrades in the low slots does this stop rats in 0.0 from scrambling you?

Well i tried that in 0.5 and it didnt work

I guess it depends on the number and strength of enemy warp scramblers versus the number of warp core stabilizers equipped on your own ship...
