possible WH exploit? (SOLVED)
So I lost a hulk the other night in my class 1 to 2 cloaky ships. I was mining in a grav and they decloaked on me pointed and killed me the odd thing is for them too have found me they would have had to drop core or combat probes both of which are on my ov so TM would have seen that on my dscan and logofskied straight away. I have filled a petition about it and no luck just yet. So has any1 heard about a way to keep probes off scan or being able to warp to some1 without having to probe?
Re: possible WH exploit?
my guess is for this instance u were using the wrong settings and u didnt have probs to be shown as this would be a serious bug and it wouldnt not just be on these forums but on the eve ones aswell. There would be no way of ever knowing if someone is in da WH with you ever if this was the case right? as obv your allways checking scan for probes.

When you are using a mining bot the last thing you want to do is file a petition and draw attention on yourself. That's not very smart. Secondly there is no such exploit, in fact I am using a cloaky tengu myself to dispose of ratting drakes that come and farm anomalies in my wormhole. There is no way to protect against it when it doesn't use any probes at all.
Tip: When you first log on in your wormhole, if you don't get the error message that the system has not yet loaded that day then it means somebody else has entered before you! In your case the pirates visited the wormhole before you were online and scanned and bookmarked all cosmic signatures. Then they simply had to camp and wait for you to log on and start mining with your hulk. Yes there are people with no life in this game, it comes as no surprise especially when we're talking about easy kills and cheap thrills.
P.S.: Cancel your petition asap!

+1...yes that is very dumbVanGoghGaming wrote:When you are using a mining bot the last thing you want to do is file a petition and draw attention on yourself. That's not very smart.
+1...this happens all the time, ppl will go thru a system, scan down all the cosmics signatures and stuff and bookmark them, then come later that day or the day after, if ppl in local, they'll warp straight to them and if lucky warp to the correct one and kill you.VanGoghGaming wrote:Tip: When you first log on in your wormhole, if you don't get the error message that the system has not yet loaded that day then it means somebody else has entered before you! I suggest doing abit more reading and such on game mechanics before starting to send random petitions while using a bot..esp now since the convenient there is the 'report a bot' feature
