Corps and tinyminer

Post by Catalyst055 »

i noticed that it's wise to use the reject invitations option for obvious reasons,

however although i'm happy to go solo at the moment,

there will come a time where i will grow, as my wallet grows, i will start to gain some pretty heavy skills, and get more ships,

when i become more prestigious, avoiding a corp may be difficult, the bonuses that come with a corp will be hard to avoid when one grows to a steady place,

my question is this,

how do people operate within a corp, but also utilize tinyminer,

if i don't respond to people in a player corp for long period's of time, and some smart arse starts forming a pattern, they will report me, and CCP will monitor me, and ...... well game over,

i am a noob at eve online, several days so far, solo is my main choice for now, but that will change at some point (unavoidable i assume),

what do i do, how do i utilize tiny miner without members in a corp not getting suspicious, one can't ignore corp/alliance team mates too many times right?

a bit puzzled,

Either join a corp off people all using TM which is rare, or do what most off us do get a second account :) and use that as your main and the bot as exactly that a BOT to feed ur main with cash therefore if u ever do get caught and /banned then u not lost ur pvp char and can still have fun while u get a new bot up and runing :)

My plan is to reactivate my two old accounts, using the bot to pay for them with gtcs. This is gonna take a while cause the bot needs to be a fairly skilled hulk pilot before he can be bringing in near that much cash...but that's my plan.

I'm super paranoid about it, so I will likely not even wire money directly. Instead, I will be buying items with the bot and then dropping them in space for the main to pick up and resell. CCP doesn't care a lot to begin with, tracing something like that is even more convoluted and time consuming, if not impossible.

I'm planning on getting 2 new accounts up and running to Hulks to Bot with (roughly about 55-60days with +4Imps / ATI Remaps) And I'll even make my self a shiny little corp for them, so not too many people will pester them :) Currently I spend a few hours a day Botting on my main Industrial account, which kinda sucks at the moment as he's the leader of a Corp so gets lots of chat thrown his way :(
Once I set up my new Corp, fellow bots are more than welcome, so don't join for the social aspect ;)

mabe a silly thought but how about we as the TM comunity make a corp/allaince that we can all join would be better for feeding out fleet bonus with people with spare slots in there orca booster fleets and would stop us geting reported by other corp mates just an idea

As far as macro haters go they would join your corp just to be able to report you. You're better off keeping a low profile. It has been repeated many times by experienced players in this forum.
