If for nothing else, it was a great teacher in setting up folders, tabs on the overview, tricks and tips on learning EVE a little better.

I had no idea about the tabs on the overview, for example.

The tips about bookmarking to 200km out and then warping to asteroids was new to me, too.

I didn't know you could set a station as a bookmark and put it in a window and dock from it (instead of the overview).

Also, I didn't know that the EVE window settings would be shown once 60Hz refresh rate was chosen.

Those are just a few of the cool tips I learned with this program.

Thanks, VG!

Hehe, yes, EVE Online is one of the games with the most steep learning curve ever but when that is overcome it will also offer some of the greatest satisfactions. I have tried to make the tutorial as easy to follow as possible although there is still a small percentage of users that seem to be struggling to get everything set up properly at first. Probably it's all that initial rush and excitement to start it as quickly as possible that makes them miss important steps. One of these days I'll have to bite the bullet and make a video version of the tutorial to bring it up to date with the modern age!
