WoW I didn't know there was a limit of unstacked items in the hangar. I've never had more than 200 myself because I usually stack them manually after a long mining session or right before starting a new one.

This is already implemented in v3.0. TinyMiner will check if the lasers have been activated or not and won't begin counting the cycles if the ship is still out of mining range. This is not implemented in TinyMinerPlus though since only one EVE client is visible at one time.

Hehe yes I've been thinking about the same thing and there's a good probability I'll implement it in a future version. It can be done, although not very easy and I'm not sure of its usefulness since once the belts start running out of ore that system is nearly mined out anyway.

You need to zoom out the camera to the max in order to avoid the targeting lines crossing over the Selected Item window. Also you can make a copy of your EVE folder and use that exclusively for mining.

Au contraire, a moving ship shows you are not afk because it will always orbit a different asteroid so your ship will not stay in the same place. I would suggest you don't worry about it because nobody cares what are you doing in your ship especially since you will be in a different belt every time....

Orbiting ensures asteroids are always within mining range, it is also used to approach when outside mining range and helps against getting stuck as well. It is pretty much an essential part of the program. You can configure the default orbit distance in EVE Online. Good values are between 500-5000m.
